About Heather Gillett

My name is Heather Gillett and I created Lash Class Academy to fulfill my dream of becoming a Lash and Beauty Industry Educator and Entrepreneur.

At 38 years old, I found myself as a newly single mother of two young boys and pregnant with a baby girl. My college education had only served to help me keep a job in the Food & Beverage industry off-and-on for over 24 years. I knew I needed a change so I went back to school and got my first Beauty Industry Diploma as a Master Makeup Artist, which included a Classic Lash Extension course. 

From there the fire was lit and I couldn’t stop my educational journey. Next it was more lashes, followed by Skin Care, Permanent Makeup, Microneedling Procedures and still MORE lashes! At last, five years later, I earned my Lash Instructor Certification with NALA (National Association of Lash Artists). Working in this industry has, for the first time in my life, allowed me to be free from living paycheck to paycheck.

What I have found is that the Lash and Beauty Industry offers unlimited potential for income and personal growth. Now I want to help others like you, to become their own boss, and not rely on anyone else for their paycheck. 

Whether you plan to do this part-time or want to become a self-employed entrepreneur, my hope is that you add Lash Extensions to your repertoire of services and grow your business successfully.

NALA Seal of Accreditation?

The NALA Seal of Accreditation is proof that a Lash Extension training program offers students the necessary content needed to ensure they are successful. 

This is the industry’s highest level of achievement for a lash training course. It’s not easily earned and cannot simply be purchased by paying a fee. In order to earn the NALA Seal of Accreditation a training program must pass through a thorough investigation.

Only those approved are listed on the NALA Global Directory and promoted as Accredited Training Courses. The public can find online and enroll in these at www.NALAmembers.com.
